Project: "Improving the Conditions of Eco-migrants and Potential Eco-migrants Using Participatory Planning Tools"

Donor: Institute of Democracy, EU – 2020

Goal: To improve the living, integration, and socio-economic conditions of eco-migrants and potential eco-migrants in Lanchkhuti municipality through the joint efforts of beneficiaries, civil society, and local self-government.


Project: "Cooperation for the Sustainable Development of the Guria Coast"

Donor: SDC, ADA, UNDP – 2019

Goal: To develop strategic, sustainable development plans for the four settlements of the Guria coast (Grigoleti, Tskaltsminda, Ureki, and Shekvetili) in the medium-term perspective through community participation.


Project: "Strengthening Public Knowledge and Engaging Civil Society in Regional Planning"

Coalition: Regional Civil Society Network (R-CSN)

Donor: SDC, ADA, UNDP – 2018

Goal: To enhance public awareness and ensure the involvement of civil society in the regional planning process.


Project: "Civil Monitoring for Change"

Donor: Eurasia Partnership Foundation – 2017

Goal: To initiate and activate public monitoring in the territorial units of Lanchkhuti and Ozurgeti municipalities through the coalition of NGOs and media, improving the accountability and citizen-orientation of local self-governments.


Project: "Advocacy for the Development of Cities Left Without Self-Governance"

Donor: East-West Management Institute (EWMI)

Goal: To support the development and institutionalization of medium-term strategic socio-economic plans for the city of Lanchkhuti and Chokhatauri town.

Timeline: 2012–2013


Project: "Advocacy for Development"

Coalition: Ozurgeti Young Scientists' Club

Goal: To develop and approve development plans for 6 communities in Lanchkhuti and Ozurgeti municipalities through advocacy mechanisms.

Timeline: 2011–2012


Project: "Plan with us how you spend our money!!!"

Donor: East-West Management Institute (EWMI)

Coalition: Ozurgeti Young Scientists' Club

Goal: To increase transparency and service efficiency of Non-entrepreneurial Legal Entities (NLEs) created by Ozurgeti and Lanchkhuti councils, supporting their strategic planning and beneficiary involvement.

Timeline: 2011–2012


Project: "Monitoring the Activities of Non-entrepreneurial Legal Entities (NLEs) in Ozurgeti and Lanchkhuti"

Donor: Eurasia Partnership Foundation

Coalition: Ozurgeti Young Scientists' Club, Guria TV

Goal: To consolidate regional NGOs and media to monitor the social and economic impact of NLEs created by local councils, helping them improve services and public transparency.

Timeline: 2011–2012


Project: "Improving Accessibility to Lanchkhuti Municipality Web System"

Donor: Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia (NALAG)

Goal: To establish a corporate Ethernet network for Lanchkhuti municipality and rebrand the municipal website (www.lanchkhuti.org.ge).

Timeline: 2011


Project: "Participatory Budgeting – A Tool for Real Citizen Engagement in Lanchkhuti"

Donor: Open Society Georgia Foundation (OSGF)

Goal: To radically increase public participation in the decision-making and monitoring processes of Lanchkhuti Council, specifically in youth and sports programs.

Timeline: 2010–2011


Project: "Municipal Development of the Guria Region"

Donor: KF, COE, NALAG – 2010

Description: Establishment of Municipal Citizen Service Centers in Ozurgeti and Chokhatauri, and an electronic document management system in all three Guria municipalities.


Project: "Implementation of Document Management Systems in Gardabani, Gori, and Khelvachauri Municipalities"

Donor: GTZ, UNDP – 2009–2010

Description: Improving the management and accessibility of municipal public information.


Project: "Internet for the Younger Generation"

Donor: People In Need – 2009

Description: Enhancing the skills of 45 young people in retrieving electronic information.


Project: "Environmental Cooperation for the Black Sea"

Donor: EU – 2008–2009

Description: Development of a sustainable development plan for Tskaltsminda village, the first of its kind around the Black Sea.


Project: "New Forms of Service in New Municipalities"

Donor: OSGF, NALA – 2008–2009

Description: Implementation of the "One-Stop-Shop" principle in Lanchkhuti Municipality.


Project: "Lanchkhuti Development Center"

Donor: U.S. Embassy – 2006–2007

Description: Enhancing youth skills in social activities and establishing an Internet Resource Center in Lanchkhuti.


Project: "Raising the Democratic and Economic Potential of the Guria Region"

Donor: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania; Partner: RELI – 2006–2007

Description: Professional development training in Lithuania for 52 representatives of the SME, NGO, and local government sectors of Guria.


Project: "Raising Environmental Awareness of the Kolkheti Lowland Population"

Donor: World Bank – 2005–2007

Description: Informing residents near Kolkheti National Park about the benefits of protected areas and promoting environmental conservation.


Project: "Increasing the Transparency of Local Self-Government"

Donor: Urban Institute – 2006

Description: Promoting transparent local elections and forming an ethical code of conduct for candidates.


Project: "Supporting Local Self-Government Development"

Description: Publishing 12 issues of the "Transparent Self-Government" newspaper, covering legislative changes and local issues.


Project: "Information Center"

Description: Supporting the development of the Lanchkhuti Information Center, increasing access to public data, and developing regional databases.


Project: "Power to the Powerless"
